George was born on September 13, 1916 and passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2009.

George was last known to be living in Auburn, Alabama.

He served his country during W.W. II with the United States Army.

George is survived by Anne.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mr. Steiger�s family on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 1:00-2:00P.M. in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral service will follow at 2:30 P.M. at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church, 35 School Street, Auburn. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery, Worcester.
